SNAPS: Inside Kelly Khumalo’s Playboy-themed birthday party

It’s hard to believe that Kelly is 33-years-old, especially because the mother of two still looks 21 and slaying!
The star celebrated her birthday this week and had a massive Playboy-themed bash on Wednesday. She wore a sexy little bunny suit complete with the cutest bunny ears.
Surrounded by friends, including socialite Babalwa Mneno, Kelly partied it up like a teenager and proved, once again, that black just don’t crack.
Here are a few snaps from the night.

Winnie Khumalo performs for Robert Mugabe, stitches and all

Musician Winnie Khumalo is still recovering from surgery to remove an abscess that developed in her buttocks, but put aside her health challenges to perform for Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe over the weekend.
The star performed alongside Uhuru at the Youth Presidential Interface Rally in Bulawayo and told TshisaLIVE that she got to perform for thousands of onlookers, including Mugabe.
"I didn't get to speak to him because security was so tight at the stadium where we were performing but Zimbabwe loved us so much that they demand we performed at a club after. It was packed!" she said.
Winnie joked that unlike Zodwa Wabantu, who was prevented from performing at a show in Zimbabwe partly over fears that she would not wear underwear, she packed in her undies.
"I wear my undies. Zodwa doesn't and that is how she brands herself. I brand myself in my own way," she said with a laugh.
The star, who appeared at the DStv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards three months ago in a wheelchair, once again slammed suggestions that she was bedridden and assured fans that she was well enough to perform at the moment.
"I am not 100 percent healed, I am 90 percent healed because I still have to go to theatre in May, but I am okay. I was walking fine in Zimbabwe and there was no problem. It only affects me when I am cold. I still have stitches that need to be removed but I am focusing on my recovery," she said.

DJ Zinhle: Feeling emotionally exposed & sharing Kairo with SA

DJ Zinhle may be one of the most popular musician in South Africa but the thought of opening up about her life to the public and becoming a reality TV star was one of the most frightening experiences of her life.
Zinhle, who is a mentor on TV music competition Vodacom NXT LVL, recently finished filming a reality show entitled It Takes a Village with DJ Zinhle, which will air on SABC 1 on Wednesday evening.
She told TshisaLIVE that it took a lot of courage for her to agree to the reality shows because she was so guarded with her private life.
"I have kept to myself for a very long time and so I think people generally don't get me. This was my biggest fear, doing reality shows, that people will get to know me personally and it may change their perceptions of me," she told TshisaLIVE.
She said the experiences left her feeling emotionally exposed but was grateful for her inexperience on screen because it allowed her to be herself, especially when tackling difficult social issues on her reality show. It Takes a Village with DJ Zinhle focuses on DJ Zinhle and her team’s attempts to help women with social issues, such as unemployment, alcohol and drug abuse, teenage pregnancy and crime.
"It was one of the toughest things that I have had to do. It was emotionally draining, to the point that I often went home to go sleep because it was too much. It was tough to hear their stories and it hit me hard," she said
Still, these have helped her open up more to her fans and after announcing at the end of last year that she would keep her daughter Kairo off social media to protect her privacy, the star recently u-turned on the decision and started an Instagram account for her little one.
She said the decision was one of the most uncomfortable things she had ever done.
"I just woke up one day and thought let me just do this with my child. It has been the most uncomfortable thing for me to do. I regret it a little but that is how it goes. I haven't had to share her for such a long time and it is hard to share her now. The thing is, if I decide that it is not working out, I can always deactivate the account," she said.

Yizo Yizo the return #YIZOYIZO

Twitter users took a serious trip down memory lane on Tuesday when SABC Encore aired cult TV classic Yizo Yizo, sending fans into a frenzy. The gangster drama series was one of the most popular shows on TV in the late 1990's and early 2000's and helped launched the TV career of several high-profile actors such as Meshack Mavuso, Ronnie Nyakale, Sthandiwe Kgoroge, Thembi Seete and Israel Makoe. The show was brought back to life through the SABC's Encore channel which airs content from the broadcaster's archives. Many users were too young to be allowed to watch the series when it originally aired, having been banned by their parents from being in the room when it was on, and celebrated the chance to watch it properly.

Inside Being Bonang star Pinky Girl's plan to take over Mzansi

While Bonang Matheba was undoubtedly the star of reality show Being Bonang, it was the TV personalities right hand woman Pinky Girl that stole the hearts of Mzansi with her personality, style and love for champagne.
In an exclusive interview with TshisaLIVE  Bonang's stylish cousin Tebogo "Pinky Girl" Mekgwe, explained her newfound fame, relationship with Bonang and future in the entertainment industry.
The 29-year-old said that she got the name Pinky Girl from her grandmother and was planning to use the name to build her brand.
"The name came from my grandmother. Apparently when I was small I was so light that my grandmother would say: 'okay this is our pinky girl!' Then it stuck, everyone calls me Pinky Girl, even the smaller kids at home call me Pinky Girl now."
Pinky helped popularise the phrase "champagne darling" after her and Bonang's mutual love for bubbly.
"Look, I love my champagne, it like my thing... the sparkling wine vibes.
"Bonang and I grew up like sisters because we were both an only child. We've always been sisters, wearing the same clothes and going to almost everything together. I love that we are at our most natural when we are around each other."
She also slammed any suggestions that the show was scripted and said often she did not even know the camera was recording her outings with Bonang.
"When I'm with her (Bonang), we always have people with cameras around us. The reason our outings are so real is because we were just living our lives and at the time I had no idea for some time that the footage would be used for the reality show."
Pinky said she was a kasi girl at heart and spent much of her time in Mabopane just outside of Pretoria "just chilling".
The 29-year-old studied Computer Sciences at Midrand Graduate Institute (MGI) and said that although she now has "fame and groupies" she remains the same girl she was before Being Bonang.
"Look, I've been in the ICT industry for over 6 years, so I don't just want to jump into entertainment just because of this one thing. I am still thinking about it, I know I love fashion and I could do modelling or acting but I'm still working on it," she said.
Fun facts about Pinky Girl
